About Me
Art can enliven and bring bright color and whimsy to your days. That is my goal. Exploring my creative and artistic self is such a delight now! The works displayed here are my way of sharing this exploration with others.
Over the years I have squeezed art into tiny bits of time, intermittently, while encountering complex challenges as a single mother and also through my career as a professor, authoring 12 books and more than 100 other publications and teaching thousands of graduate students.
But now, I have time and my own small studio! Come and see. I sometimes create texture with mixed media materials and most are acrylic paintings. Also, many have painted sides, so that framing will not be needed.
Don’t hesitate to contact me to come view in person, which is the most fun. Let me know if you have questions or just need clarification on something. Maybe you will want to purchase one of my paintings!
